I bought some Maple Leaf Natural Selections turkey slices for a sandwich the other day.
“Natural Selections” strikes me as a funny product name. I mean, I suppose “select” and “natural” sound pretty good. And I bought the product, didn’t I?
Still I can’t help but associate the evolutionary concept of Natural Selection; as in the process where organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and thrive, while the others go extinct.
The question remains: is my sandwich made from the survivors or the weaker, less adaptable animals?
